Spirit Week at Cypress Creek

From October 5-9, Cypress Creek High school is having spirit week. So far we've had Super-hero day, Celebrity day, and Twin day. Here a couple pictures from Celebrity day.

 so back near the all the art class rooms, there's this mural and I figured that it would be a nice place to take some pictures of the "celebrities." Here's a simple pose and smile.

And now, they are acting out their celebrities. From left to right, Alvin and the Chipmunks (blue and red), Rachel Bilson, Lil' Wayne, Vanessa Hudgens, Kim Kardashian, Hannah Montana, Alicia Keys, Juno and Bleeker, and Forest Gump.

And of course, one goofy shot.

So from here on, I took the liberty of putting the student's pictures next to some of the celebrity's pictures. You can now see just how much they look alike; some a lot, some a little.

So those are the celebrity look-alikes I was able to take pictures of. Overall, a lot of people dressed up. There were all sorts of celebrities such as the nine listed above along with Michael Jackson, Amy Whinehouse, The Power Puff Girls, Selena Gomez, Rihanna and Chris Brown, Kat Von D, etc. The point of Spirit Week is obviously to raise up spirit for Cypress Creek's Homecoming week and game. This Friday, we play Oakridge High School. Surprisingly, CCHS hasn't been doing that bad in football this year. As of last week, CCHS Varsity football team is 3-2. Tomorrow is "Whacky Day" so I’m excited to see what people can come up with.
