For those of you who might remember, in November of 2010, our CCHS FCA (Cypress Creek High School Fellowship of Christian Athletes) held a rally to...
1) Get the word out about the gospel and who Christ is.
2) Get the word out about FCA and encourage people to come out.
This time around, one of the pastors of our FCA sponsors is friends with a christian rapper known as Curvine. Curvine smoked for the first time at the age of twelve, soon became addicted to ecstasy, alcohol, and cocaine, and was soon arrested for armed robbery and drug possession. It wasn't until soon, that God showed His grace and mercy, and made himself manifest in Curvine's life. To listen to his testimony, click here.
Overall, the rally was of course, an awesome blessing and an awesome sight to see. We prayed over the rally for many weeks and it's only with God's provision, grace, and blessings that our FCA was able to reach the students and youth of CCHS in the ways we did. Praise God! If you have any questions about the rally or FCA, feel free to contact me by clicking here or you can email me.
